woodies and surf art brings Bill closer to the time of his youth.
As a native Southern California teenager, growing up in the '60s,
he vividly remembers the surf culture from its inception. Bill and
his friends spent time down at Salt Creek Beach in South Orange
County back in the days when an old beachcomber sat on a hill, extending
a clothespin attached to a pole, to collect the .25 cent parking
fee. Of course, then, visitors could park down on the beach itself! |
